Bank of Saint Lucia Limited is a dynamic & professional financial services institution and is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following position within the EC Global Insurance Agency: CLAIMS OFFICER
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Reviewing claims and policy files to ascertain coverage
  • Liaising with service providers (police, loss adjusters, garages, lawyers etc)
  • Negotiating claims settlements with relevant parties
  • Preparing relevant claim documents
  • Responding to emails and queries in a timely manner
  • Interviewing claimants
  • Liaising with principal on reserves and queries
Qualifications/Experience Required
  • Diploma in Insurance, Business or related field
  • Certification in Property and Motor Insurance
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ working experience in property and motor insurance claims
  • Intermediate knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
