Position: Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Blue Waters St. Lucia Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our Plant Department. The successful candidate will support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant electrical systems, ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, and contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and troubleshooting plant electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support and optimize industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and control networks.
• Inspect electrical installations and equipment for compliance with standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Safety teams to support plant performance and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in planning and executing electrical projects, including upgrades, repairs, and new installations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, schematics, and reports on electrical systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to continuous learning.
