Job Summary:
Experienced, creative Pastry Cook/Baker. Applicants must be knowledgeable in pastry making and cake decorating, be in good health and be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Skills and Attributes:
- Well-groomed and maintain excellent hygiene;
- Must have fine dining experience and must be creative in the art of pastry and baking.
- Must be a pro-active individual that is capable of managing time / resource effectively.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and should possess strong work ethics.
- Excellent personal skills who is able to develop associates and reinforce a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of a variety of pastry styles and experience with buffets and banquets is essential.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in the hotel industry or large restaurant chain is required.
