Vacancy: Sales & Events Coordinator
The Sales & Events Coordinator is responsible for driving sales revenue and coordinating events to enhance
guest experiences. The primary focus will be on maximizing revenue through effective sales strategies and
providing seamless event coordination services. He/she will work closely with various departments to ensure
the successful planning and execution of events while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Develop & maintain a customer database and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform resort site inspections.
• Develop and maintain sales & promotional materials.
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients.
• Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current & potential clients.
• Prepare and present sales contracts.
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports.
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by telephone, email or in person.
• Carry out market research and surveys.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate events from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality
standards.
• Gather feedback from clients and attendees to enhance future events.
• Participate in sales events.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions locally and regionally as requested.
• Monitor the resort’s major corporate clients and high profile/VIP guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and ensure that records are kept current.

Key Specific Technical/General Skills Required:
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
• Must be well-organized and be able to plan and strategize effectively.
• Knowledge of Opera.
• Strong analytical skills to understand and respond to key business indicators and competitive trends.
Academic Qualification
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration or related field.
