The Landings Resort and Spa is a 5-star, 4-diamond, luxurious all-suite beachfront resort. The resort carries 150 well-appointed one, two, and three-bedroom villa suites with stunning waterfront views, multiple terraces, fully equipped gourmet kitchens, elegantly furnished dining/living areas, Italian-tile floors - some with private plunge pools. The resort also boasts 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a coffee shop and in-room dining options for guests.

Front Desk/Concierge Agent
The Front Desk/Concierge Agent is responsible for total guest satisfaction from pre-arrival contact, checking guests in and out of the resort, maintaining guest and group accounts, answering internal & external calls and coordination of guests' parcels, mail and special deliveries. This position will communicate with guests both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide details on resort amenities with a focus on luxury service.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Register guests, issue green and red room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location, process payment for stay, and close out guest accounts at time of check out, all according to resort standards.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner according to resort standards.
• Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures outlined in the bank contract and training manual.
• Distribute mail/messages/packages following established SOPs.
• Respond to guests’ immediate needs and follow through on requests according to resort standards.
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanour and ethics in dealing both with guests and coworkers.
• Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
• Ensure the accurate flow of information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities,
alongside answering questions, giving directions and making detailed reservations or recommendations.
• On a daily basis ensure that all arrivals are set up correctly by checking VIP procedures, arrival room types, billing instructions and special requests.

• Booking of transfers (arrival and departures), taxi trips and other tours as and when needed by guests.
• Develop and maintain all guest profiles.
• Develop strong working relationships with coworkers in all departments to ensure communication and teamwork is at an optimum.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Knowledge of Opera is required.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 1 year guest service experience at a luxury resort is required.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
• Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
