Job Title: Waiter/Bartender
Reports to: Restaurant Supervisors; Restaurant Manager
Job Summary :Provide excellent wait service and assist team members with the smooth execution of daily duties while complying with the resort F&B Standard Operating Procedures Manual as well as health and safety standards.
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
Greet and seat all guests
Present the guest(s) with the menu and explain ‘Specials of the Day’
Offer and up-sell drinks
Take all orders from guests in a timely and professional manner. Repeat orders.
Always Liaise with the Kitchen and Bar to ensure prompt and efficient service.
Provide service and drinks to guests at the pool
Assist with cleaning up during service
Clean and maintain all equipment, furniture, fixtures, banisters, railings, lights, etc. in the restaurants, bars and service areas.
Check all crockery, linen, glassware, stemware daily before setting for service.
Record all breakage and damaged items and report to the Restaurant Management Team.
Set for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner promptly and in accordance with the resort’s standard.
Keep F&B areas clean and presentable
Complete all pre-service preparation to ensure a smooth and effective service
Record all drinks and beverages in POS correctly and charge to the correct accounts.
Document all items ordered from the Kitchen or Bar
Assist with monthly inventory as and when requested by the Restaurant Management team
Deliver 4 to 5 -star resort service with a friendly and personable quality to guests, co -workers and management
