Accounts Clerk (Cashier)
Seeking suitably qualified individual to fill in a temporary Appointment of Accounts Clerk . (Cashier) for a 6 month period.
Reports to: Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive payments and issue receipts.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Prepare daily and monthly cash receipt reports.
  • Post and update rental records.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned by the Accountant.
Skills and other attributes required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Literate with knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, QuickBooks.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary Education including A level passes in Accounting.
  • Diploma in Business with at least (2) years’ experience in Accounting.
  • Passes in CXC Mathematics and Principles of Accounts with at least (2) years’ experience in computerized Accounting environment.
