St. Jude Hospital - Business Office Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from a recognized tertiary learning institution with a minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in areas of cash management, debt management and products & sales.And
- Certification in Supervisory Management with proven leadership competence
Relations and Responsibilities
The Business Office Manager will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing and overseeing all aspects of the Business Office including appointment setting (client booking), cash sales, credit sales and billing and credit are optimized. Including other duties:
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue creation (sales and debt reduction collections) that are achievable and relevant to the hospital environment
- Revenue monitoring, cash forecasting budgetary analysis
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual collections targets
- Management and security of cash and other resources entrusted to the department
- General oversight of daily cash processing, reporting and deposit summaries
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures framework department
- Responsible for approaching and negotiating with external agencies and patients in the payment of all outstanding debts out to St. Jude Hospital
- Customer Satisfaction tracking and other relevant KPIs
- Create periodic and specialized departmental reports
Salary will be paid in accordance with the terms stipulated by Government in the Estimates of Expenditure, commensurate with experience and qualifications for the post.
