Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic professional who takes pride in their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets as well as providing strategic leadership while optimizing guest service.
Oversee and ensure the effective and efficient daily management of the resort’s restaurants.
Manage guest expectations and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner.
Monitor industry trends and guest feedback platforms and initiate appropriate action to improve guest satisfaction and profitability.
Train, coach and develop team members at all levels throughout the food and beverage operation.
Ensure team member compliance to resort policies and standard operating procedures.
Conduct daily inspections of the outlets to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, hygiene and presentation standards.
Delegate authority and assign responsibilities to food and beverage team members and ensure consistent high-quality performance geared towards the resort’s maintenance of a reputation for exceptional, refined and friendly service with optimum achievement in guest satisfaction scores.
Adhere to all local and international laws and regulations regarding food and beverage safety.
Perform all accountabilities in a timely and efficient manner, following established company policy and projecting a favorable image of the company to achieve objectives, public recognition and acceptance.
Perform all necessary managerial functions to effectively and efficiently manage the restaurants’ operations in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management, or a minimum of five (5) years equivalent food & beverage managerial work experience in a luxury hospitality environment
The ideal candidate will be positively spirited, passionate about food and beverage service, and committed to work together with the service team to deliver amazing guest experiences each and every time. He/she must also demonstrate energy and enthusiasm at work, be customer driven, ‘hands on’ and organized with an exceptional eye for detail.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment and should also possess the following competencies:
Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Comprehensive understanding of operations in a 4- or 5-star luxury hospitality environment
High degree of attention to detail
Competency in training and developing a team
Ability to foster and promote a team-oriented environment
Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work various shifts and on weekends and holidays
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience assisting in developing and implementing strategic business plans
