The incumbent will be responsible for strategically leading the Quality Assurance Team, driving and supporting quality improvements in processes, while also participating in operational activities aimed at transitioning the operational teams (including maintenance, suppliers, logistics, sales and distribution teams) from product based to process-based quality control.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Developing and driving a Quality vision - E2E and Consumer Oriented - for the entire organization to include all relevant aspects- Activities, Processes, Organization structure, People development.
Preventing food safety issues and product quality deviations by improving the QA framework and ensuring full compliance.
Assuring the quality of all incoming raw-, packaging- and auxiliary materials.
Driving supplier performance management through audits, follow up and corrective / preventive actions.
Identifying and driving of DSV (Design to Sustainable Value) initiatives through in-depth analysis of process, technology, recipes, raw and packaging materials.
Leading the implementation of NPD (New Product Development) projects for Supply Chain.
Integrating standardized quality activities into operational systems by reviewing and optimizing systems, checklists, and standards.
Supporting the department and operational teams to identify, understand and eliminate all quality anomalies.
Maintenance & Improvement of Quality Management Systems, including Labstar, HACCP, FSSC, ISO9001;
Lead the Quality (PQ) TPM Process Improvement Pillar and driving continuous improvement activities by utilizing advanced UPS techniques and other TPM tools.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree (Master’s Preferred) in any of the related Sciences- Brewing and Malting Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Agronomy or Engineering Chemistry
Minimum five (5) years’ related experience in food and beverage production and technology, quality control or assurance systems
Quality and Food Safety Management systems (HAACP, ISO, FSSC)
Laboratory Operations in food and beverage production environment (ISO17025)
People management, Development and Leadership
Continuous Improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, 6 Sigma)
