Peter & Company Distribution - Sales Representative/Driver
Job Summary
To maximize sales and distribution of company food and beverages in the small shops and minimart sector by visiting customers along a specific route and ensuring maximum visibility to the satisfaction of all stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum Sales and Distribution of assigned products by visiting outlets along with a specific route whilst constantly searching for opportunities to increase penetration. Special attention must be given to achieving monthly targets
- Establish effective and regular communication in working relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring after sales follow-up with the objective of excellent customer experience and generating further sales
- Stock Management
- Assist in the Van Stock Reconciliation Process
- Reporting information and feedback from assigned route which assists in developing promotional strategies, changes in customer buying patterns, and market information on activities impacting sales and performance
- Participate in the Preparation and Execution of promotions
- Ensure that the Working Environment is well kept, clean, tidy, aesthetically appealing and in good repair
Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary level education which includes business courses, plus two years experience in either Sales, Merchandising or Trade Marketing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, customer oriented, organized, good planner
- Strong relationship building skills and problem-solving ability
- Strong understanding of the local retail sector and proven track record in sales
- Computer Literate
- A Valid Driver’s License endorsed for goods vehicles
