Child Bill available for viewing

THE CHILD CARE AND CHILD JUSTICE BILLS WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE OCT. 30 SITTING OF PARLIAMENT.

The Department of Equity, Social Justice, Empowerment and Human Services, wishes to inform the public that the Child (Care, Protection and Adoption) Bill and Child Justice Bill will be up for discussion at the next sitting of Parliament on Oct. 30.

The public is hereby notified that copies of both bills will be available for viewing on the Government of Saint Lucia web portal, and at the following locations: the Department of Equity, Social Justice and Empowerment, Division of Human Services, (Castries, Soufriere and Vieux Fort Offices); the Central Library; the Family Court; and the Probation and Parole Services Unit (Castries and Vieux Fort).

The Department of Equity, Social Justice, Empowerment and Human Services, welcomes any comments that the public may have. Comments can be forwarded to Mr. Tommy Descartes at t.descartes@gosl.gov.lc.
