The successful applicant will be responsible for providing strategic leadership geared towards achieving maximum long-range profitability for the Food & Beverage department and optimizing guest service while operating within predetermined budgetary limitations.

Requirements (among others):
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Food & Beverage Director or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management or a minimum of 5 years equivalent executive level managerial work experience in a luxury environment
Business and financial acumen
Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience developing and implementing strategic and business plans
Other Job Responsibilities (among others):

Oversee the management of the food and beverage operation inclusive of all restaurants, bars, outlets, kitchen, catering, and banquet operations.
Develop and execute food and beverage revenue growth strategies to achieve short, medium and long term goals.
Prepare and manage the food and beverage budget, monitor performance against budget and take the necessary corrective action.
Monitor industry trends and guest feedback platforms and initiate appropriate action to improve guest satisfaction and profitability.
Train and develop team members at all levels throughout the food and beverage operation.
Delegate authority and assign responsibilities to the Food & Beverage team and assure high-quality performance geared towards the resort’s maintenance of a reputation for dependable, friendly service with optimum achievement in guest satisfaction scores.

Develop and maintain positive relations with business partners, stakeholders and authorities.
Report to the resort’s Executive team and provides insight and strategic advice as it pertains to food and beverage operations to assist in achieving the Resort’s strategic goals.
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing and Accounting departments to develop marketing strategies and manage the development of new products and services in line with the established budget.
Adhere to all local and international laws and regulations regarding food and beverage safety.
Conduct and/or attend meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among the resort’s leadership and employees and promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency.

Ensure a high degree of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the resort’s operations.
Perform all accountabilities in a timely and efficient manner, following established company policy and projecting a favorable image of the company to achieve objectives, public recognition and acceptance.
Perform all necessary managerial functions to effectively and efficiently manage the food and beverage operations in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
