Brandtalk Media is looking for a creative, data driven, Social Media Specialist with a passion for developing original content and a knack for connecting with current and future customers. Someone who understands how consumers organically engage on social platforms in order to bring the client’s brand to life across all social media platforms.
The Social Media Specialist is someone who is keen on growing and evolving with a boutique agency. This individual (1) is driven by the goal of turning fans into customers, (2) is comfortable wearing many hats, working in a fast-paced, organic environment, and (3) Strong passion for Social Media.
Reporting to the CEO, this position means joining a growing start-up, remote working, full of professional challenges and the opportunity to develop and grow.



Responsibilities:
Live and breathe the Social space by managing day-to-day communications on all endorsed platforms
Contribute to developing the brand’s social media strategy, social media campaigns, and tactical plans from beginning to implementation across multiple social channels;
Ongoing reporting of social-media activities and campaigns. Identify goals and analyze progress to improve social-media efforts over time.
Accountability for ALL brand campaigns on owned social channels
Manage, create, edit, and publish social media content on all platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Tick Tock, Snap Chat, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube etc.
Maintain the company's content and social media image database and calendar
Monitor and respond to customer comments, and DMs
Actively monitor social media channels, determining when and how to engage with the community and escalate accordingly when needed
Scheduling, implementing, monitoring and optimizing paid media across social platforms based on approved strategies Demonstrating thought leadership and being on top of trends in development of social and digital media strategies and content that supports the brand and business goals Collaborate with, build relationships with, and serve as a primary contact for various internal and external stakeholders Present new ideas, analysis, key findings regularly with various team members and provide recommendations
Identify trends, opportunities to innovate, and maintain awareness and understanding of best-in-class tactics.
Understand how to execute content across channels with consistent brand voice and adhering to brand guidelines while simultaneously identifying fit-for-platform content that is engaging and creative
Supporting other marketing initiatives and events when requested including but not limited to live social media coverage
Produce monthly client reports and additional reports as needed
Available in Saint Lucia to plan and manage client events



Essentials:
An excellent working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
Self-motivated with a passion for marketing, content creation, and all things social;
Experience in Photoshop, InDesign or other graphic design tools for Social Media promotion
Experience with social media management tools, such as Later or Hootsuite is preferred
Experience networking with social media influencers is preferred
Highly organized individual with excellent English copywriting and verbal communication skills
Ability to own and understand social media metrics, communicate findings internally, and develop strategic thinking
Autonomy, attention to detail and team spirit
Strong sense of responsibility and handle situations with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
An entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to find creative new solutions
A desire to learn new things and push professional limits.
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies



Experience:
2 year of relevant experience planning and building brands on social media and community management
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Strong understanding of current social media landscape including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. as well as emerging platforms
Copywriting experience, basic Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator) skills, bilingualism, and experience with CMS platforms are a plus
