Vacancy: Retail Sales Clerk at the Corner Boutique & Cafe

The Corner Boutique & Café offers a shopping and dining experience that brings a bit of Europe to the Caribbean. We offer clothing, jewelry and accessories for the discerning woman, in an ambiance that also makes dining with us a delight. We are currently looking for candidates who will enhance our growing team.

Qualities

The successful candidate must be friendly, with a high level of customer service; someone who looks for opportunities to sell additional items without being pushy; diligent in ensuring that the products and the store are maintained to the highest standards; is teachable and flexible, always willing to improve; is respectful and punctual.

Responsibilities

Provides outstanding customer service: greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner; serves our customers by helping them select products; drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge; responds to customer questions, and directs them by escorting them to products that are in line with their interests. The successful candidate will also maintain the store and products at their best: restocking racks and shelves with merchandise; cleaning and arranging display areas; assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.

CXC English and Math subjects are required. Experience is preferred.
