VACANCY NOTICE

WAREHOUSE-DELIVERY ASSOCIATE

A well-established and reputable retail and distribution company in the north is inviting applications from suitably qualified, vibrant and people-oriented individuals for the position of Warehouse/Delivery Associate.

Summary:

Responsible for providing assistance in delivery to customers island wide.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the movement, loading and offloading of stock onto trucks for delivery to Company outlets and customers island-wide as directed.

2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of in-store products.

3. Assist with the preparation of customer orders and internal transfers.

4. Assist in moving, loading and offloading of stock from and into the warehouse.

5. Assist in destuffing of containers.

6. Adherence to warehouse health and safety measures.

7. Assist in providing consistent and professional delivery of products to customers and company outlets in a timely manner.

8. Assisting with stock counts as directed by management.

9. Providing courteous and prompt service to customers.

10. Assisting with all sales activities as required within both the wholesale and retail sections of the store.

11. Perform any other job-related functions which may not be stated herein but may arise from time to time, as directed by management or your supervisor.

Required qualifications and skills:

1. Secondary School-Leaving Certificate;

2. Excellent Customer Service Skills;

3. Strong interpersonal skills;

4. Detail-oriented;

5. Strong time management and organizational skills;

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills;

7. Good physical condition.

Compensation:

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Training and development will be provided to facilitate growth within the company.
