Real Foods Inc. the franchise holder for the KFC brand in St. Lucia is looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager for its growing operations. This role is based in St. Lucia with potential opportunities in other islands.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager include but are not limited to:
Evaluating equipment requests and making recommendations on the most efficient and cost-effective equipment based on needs of the company.
Reviewing repair schedules with the Maintenance Administrator and ensure prioritization and timely resolution of critical issues.




Monitoring and managing the budgets for the department.
Planning and scheduling the work of the maintenance team
Reviewing the work of the maintenance team which involves coaching members and identifying areas for development; provide training or support as necessary
Establishing goals for the team and monitoring performance and execution against targets.
Directing, maintaining, and enforcing the safety program for the maintenance department.
Ensuring that equipment at all stores is maintained in keeping with manufacturers specifications.
Tracks, analyses and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, electricity usage, work hours per project and time utilization by the maintenance team.
Effectively uses materials/resources to minimize wastage.




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a similar capacity and supervising a team.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and the ability to learn new applications.
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
