Vacancy: General Manager
Reports to: CEO
Schedule: Flexible working hours
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are searching for an experienced General Manager to organize and manage our hotel’s day- to-day operations and oversee guest services and human resources. You will manage the company’s procedures and guide its employees to ensure it is well-coordinated and productive. You will collaborate with all department heads to ensure that operations are running smoothly and all budget goals are met. SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and implement methods to guarantee that guests have a great experience that exceeds guest satisfaction expectations including responding to Trip Advisor and Internal Guests Reviews
Oversee all department heads to ensure that operations are running smoothly
Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel's inner workings, including room rates, rooms operations, hotel policies, availability, and profitability strategies
Incorporate guest satisfaction into staff meetings, with a focus on coming up with new methods to enhance performance over time
Coordinate with human resources to interview, hire, and train hotel operations staff to ensure that all departments are run well
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management would be an asset
5+ years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotel
Proven track record of managing a team in a hospitality or hotel management role
Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of RDP Reservation system would be an asset
