Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards - Standards Officer
The Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards invites applications from suitably qualified persons for recruitment to the position of Standards Officer.
Qualifications
Candidates musts possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Science, Engineering or Technology with at least three years work experience in a related field. Experience in Standards Development and Training in Project Management will be an asset.
The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, computer skills and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
Key Duties
  1. To assist with planning, organizing and directing the development of Saint Lucia National Standards
  2. To monitor and review international and regional standards which may be of national interest
  3. To formulate and transmit national positions on relevant draft regional and international standards and standards related matters
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
