Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the coordination required to guests’ stay - pre-arrival, arrival, stay predeparture and departure
• Act as a host to guests and an ambassador for the resort throughout the guests stay
• Responsible to deliver the desired experience to internal/external guests via telephone
• To be fully informed of the resort’s services and facilities and St. Lucia in general offering suggestions and answering queries
• Liaison with local tour operator representatives as required
• Ensuring efficient bell services and baggage handling, storage and transfer for guests as required
• Facilitating guests mails and sundry related items
• Ensuring an efficient telephone and messaging service process
• Assisting guests with special needs such as mobility and medical problems
• Analysing information on guest satisfaction on guest satisfaction with Reception and devising and implementing strategies to enhance it

Educational and Job Qualifications:

• Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Receptionist or Bellman/Porter in a 4-star resort -
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills
• Good knowledge of both spoken and written English
• Must be proficient in MS Office
• Must be able to efficiently communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
• Comply with resort standards and policies for efficient operation
• Maintain standard of personal appearance and grooming
• Must be able to work different shifts, weekends, public holidays, day or night shifts based on the business requirements
