The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs informs the public that the Babonneau and Fond Assau Wellness Centres will be temporarily closed from Friday, June 6, 2025, for a period of six (6) months to facilitate rehabilitative works under the OECS Regional Health Project, funded by the World Bank.

Effective Tuesday, June 10, 2025, all Primary Health Care Services normally offered at the Babonneau and Fond Assau Wellness Centres will be redirected to the La Guerre Wellness Centre. Dental Services will be redirected to Gros-Islet Polyclinic and the La Clery Wellness Centre. Home visits and outreach services will continue as usual to support patients requiring care.

La Guerre Wellness Centre Opening Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

To ensure continued access to healthcare services, the Ministry has arranged free transportation for residents via shuttle. Please note that the schedule for this shuttle service will be published in a separate press release. The Ministry sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its patience, support, and cooperation as we work to improve healthcare delivery.
