Commercial Central Kitchen Associate (Operations Division)
Main Responsibilities
- Executes food preparation and cooking activities following standard recipes and guidelines for each product
- Follows proper food safety handling practices at all time
- Consistently meets all production quotes as assigned
- Checks that proper stock of raw materials is available for the products to be prepared
- Ensures that all finished products comply with the quality standards of presentation required by the company
- Ensure that all formulas and processes set by the company followed as per product, in accordance to product formulation set by the Company
- Operates all the equipment and utensils in a safe manner, following manufacturer guidelines for operation and in compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Engage in stock taking when required by the company
- Recording of all deliveries of finished products to the stores
- Follow all handling and merchandising policies of the company to ensure that merchandise is accounted for in efforts of controlling shrink
Requirements
- Five (5) CXCs including Math and English
- Knowledge of baking
- Two years’ experience in a food service, restaurant and/or production facility
- Certification in Food Safety would be an asset
- Basic Computer literacy
