Massy Stores – After-Sales Manager
This position reports directly to the Divisional Head Warehousing and Distribution
Main Responsibilities
- Follow-up and resolve all customer requests and complaints and report on trends
- Ensure technician appointment system is in place maximizes cost saving whilst ensuring service levels are not compromised.
- Ensure the necessary protocol is adhered to when visiting customers’ residence for assessment and repairs
- Maintain and build on sales to ensure department profitability
- Establish long and short terms sales and profit objectives for the department
- Effectively use of Spares Management system to manage stock levels and the ordering of parts
- Work closely with purchasing team to establish any potential product quality issues and provide feedback to the manufactures outlining such
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure the purchase of quality replacement parts, negotiating for the best prices
- Ensure that all parts returned as defective or under warranty are properly coded and inventories so that all credits are received from the manufacturer
- Check, inspect and authorize all necessary orders, picking slips, requisitions and purchase orders
- Ensure all incoming parts are checked for conformity and price and return any non-conforming or damaged parts
- Supervise the work of the department’s staff ensuring that all targets, repairs and sales are accomplished in a timely manner.
Requirements
- BSc in Business Management or related discipline AND
- Three (3) years retail work experience
