Description:

The Korean Development Institute (KDI) School of Public Policy and Management invites suitably qualified persons to apply for full and partial scholarship opportunities to pursue graduate studies in Korea commencing Spring 2019.  The areas of study for which applicants will be considered are:

 

Master of Development Policy (MDP)

Master of Public Policy (MPP)

Master of Public Management (MPM)

Ph.D. in Public Policy (PP)

Ph.D. in Development Policy (DP)

 

 

Scholarships Offered:

 

Global Ambassador Scholarship

 

Benefits: Full tuition and monthly stipend for most recipients;

Eligibility: Admitted international students;

Admissions Period: Spring and fall admissions; and

There is no separate application. Most international students enrolled in a full-time Master’s program will become potential candidates for this scholarship.

Seoul G20 Global Leaders Fellowship

 

Benefits: Full tuition, monthly stipend and round-trip airfare;

Additional Benefits: Specialized core courses and seminars in development issues;

Eligibility: Applicants must be currently employed in the public sector and meet one of the requirements below;

Division head or higher level in the public sector

Minimum 6 years of working experience in the public sector;

Applicants must complete and submit an online application (https://apply.kdischool.ac.kr/) for Seoul G20 Global Leaders Fellowship and submit all the required documents including an employment verification letter demonstrating the eligibility.

Duration

 

The Master degree programmes are for a duration of 1.5 years (18mths); and

The Ph.D. programmes are for a 3 years.

Requirements:

All applicants must be citizens of Saint Lucia;

For Master’s degree program must meet one of the following:-

​a bachelor’s degree holder from an accredited college or university (min. 3 years); or

certificate of expected graduation must be submitted if one is expected to earn a bachelor’s degree prior to the proposed date of admission; or

educational attainment equivalent to bachelor’s degree (min. 3 years) approved by law

For Ph.D. degree program must meet one of the following:-

both bachelor’s (min. 3 years) and master’s degree holder from an accredited college or university; or

certificate of expected graduation must be submitted if one is expected to earn a master’s degree prior to the proposed date of admission; or

educational attainment equivalent to both bachelor’s (min. 3 years) and master’s degree approved by law
