Job Summary
J.E. Bergasse requires a Human Resource Co-ordinator whose primary responsibility will be delivering HR solutions that enable the the business to perform at tits best and insure comany goals are met without violating employee rights. Our HR Co-ordinator will provide support to the management team in coaching and counseling as it relates to employee career development and disciplinary actions. HR Makes recommendations to improve work relationships, build staff morale and increase productivity and retention. duties include ensuring that timely, accurate and fair assessments of employee performance are conducted per the corporate guidelines as well as assisting with forecasting, planning and recruiting talent requirements in line with the business objectives. The HR Co-ordinator oversees consistent application of all company policies and guidelines, communicates HR programs and policies to staff and conducts investigations of potential violations of company policies. The successful candidate must be a true professional, and a team player, capable of wearing many hats, beyond solely traditional H.R. Duties, i.e., coordination and oversight of day-to-day building and grounds maintenance, lead and participate fully in our disaster mitigation committee and other duties as may be required from time to time.

Qualifications:
  • Business Degree from a recognized institution
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the St. Lucia Labour Act (2006)
  • Minimum three years experience in Human Resource field
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
