Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Role Summary
Assist in facilitating the smooth operations of the Human Resources department.
Duties & Responsibilities of the position
ο· Receive, sort, record and file incoming job applications;
ο· Ensure that sufficient quantities of the various HR forms are available at all times;
ο· Requisition items from the storeroom as requested;;
ο· Prepare form letters as assigned for the General Managerβs, Hotel Managerβs, or Human Resources Managerβs signature;
ο· Maintain employee files in alphabetical order and up to date at all times with the most current date in the front of each file;
ο· Maintain record of uniforms, ID cards, badges, handbooks, etc. issued to managers/team members;
ο· Maintain record/file of all outgoing correspondence (letters, memos, faxes);
ο· Provide information on benefits and other HR related matters to team members as required;
ο· Assist in the ordering, receiving, issuing and recording of uniforms for all departments/employees;
ο· Assist in employee benefits administration process as assigned;
ο· Assist in the preparation of the monthly department report;
ο· Assist with any other related duties that may be assigned.
ο· Assists in completing paperwork for all team members as it relates to salary adjustments, promotion, transfers, savings club in a timely
manner;
ο· Assists in processing documents to add all new team members to the payroll by Thursday of the first week of employment;
ο· Ensure that a copy of all sick, vacation leave and addition to payroll is submitted to the accounting department by Friday afternoon
weekly.
Qualifications and Experience
ο· Computer Literate β solid knowledge of spreadsheet applications
ο· Five (5) CXC/G.C.E. Levels including Mathematics and or Accounts, English Language and Principles of Business.
ο· Minimum two (2) yearsβ experience in a similar position
