Responsibilities

• Maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing all finance and accounting operations
• Providing timely monthly financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company-s actual performance compared to the business plans
• Forecasting quarterly and annual profits
• Preparing cost projectsions
• Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

Requirements

• Three to six yeas at a mid-management level
• ACCA, CA, CGA or CMA preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university will be considered
• A solid understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements and preparing and interpreting financial statistics
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close processes
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
