Vacancy - Merchandiser, Warehouse Supervisor & Van Salesperson/Driver
A distribution company located in Gros Islet, St. Lucia is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies:



Incumbents will be required to:

  • Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products; monitoring expiry dates; removing damaged products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products.
  • Determine call schedule by reviewing priorities with Supervisor; discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.
  • Help sales representatives with special promotions by setting-up displays at aisle ends; checking daily on special promotions; observing customer reaction to special promotions; forwarding observations to management; removing promotions at end of special promotion period.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in product knowledge sessions.
  • Perform and related tasks assigned by Supervisor.


  • At least 3 CSEC / CXC O’ Level subjects


  • Able to work within a team and with limited supervision.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A willingness to be trained for the position.

Van Salesperson / Driver

Incumbents will be required to:
  • Achieve sales budgets set monthly.
  • Promote sales through regular visits to customers and ensure that all customers are serviced on a weekly basis.
  • Document and report all complaints made by customers regarding products or services to the Company immediately.
  • Manage cash and inventory daily for the avoidance of ‘shorts’ (deficits) or ‘overs’ (surpluses).
  • Collect money from customers, issue change, and record transactions on customer receipts/invoices.


  • A valid Driver's License with endorsements for heavy vehicles / trucks
  • Three (3) years' driving experience
  • A sound Secondary School education
  • Self-motivated with an interest in pursuing a career in sales
  • A willingness to be trained for the position


  • Able to work within a team and with limited supervision
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Capable of moving and lifting items between 20 – 40lbs in weight


Incumbents will be required to:

  • Prepare Goods Received documentation to record receipt of products.
  • Record date of receipt and date unstuffed for all incoming containers.
  • Review requisition documentation for products and assign Warehouse Attendants to pick and items to relevant departments.
  • Authorize the release / delivery of requested items as needed or in accordance with space constraints.
  • Maintain proper rotation of both raw and packaging materials by utilizing the FIFO system.


  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position


  • A minimum of 5 CXC O’ Level subjects
  • Must be computer literate


  • Sound communication & supervisory skills
  • Detail-oriented and organised
