The St. James’s Club Morgan Bay St. Lucia is seeking to recruit experienced talent to join our happy team of employees. We are taking applications for the position of Kids Club / Activities Supervisor.
JOB SUMMARY
The Supervisor under the authority of the Guest Services Manager in this position is responsible for ensuring the effective performance of the daily duties of the Kids Club and Activities departments.



ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the functions of the Kids Club / Activities Coordinators. Liaise with the Guest Services Manager for schedules, operational issues and receive instructions.
Ability to plan, deliver and organize a variety of programs for adults and children including exercises classes, fun in the sun, arts and craft, entertainment and engagement across all levels of skill and ability.
Coordinate a varied and exciting program of activities and entertainment to satisfy family and kids’ needs, pool games, water sports, kids’ aerobics, outdoor sports, arts and craft, cultural activities, cruises, tours, picnics, walks, etc.
Ensure adherence to systems which guarantee a high quality of individualized care and enriching activities for our customers, and ensuring health and safety is met.
Encourage guests to attend or join an activity to enhance their holidays,
Monitor the activities to ensure avoidance of unsafe practices.
Respond promptly to accidents, injuries, or other emergencies



Be responsible for ensure that all COVID measure are met, and that all equipment is sainted between use and maintained to a high standard of health and safety
To ensure all stock levels of operating equipment is kept and no supplies are short.
Ensure the proper use of gym and activities equipment, computers, games, toys and books, retrieve them and ensure that they are stored properly at the end of service.
Ensure that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to.
DESIRED SKILLS
Possession of good communication skills excellent written and verbal communication.
Must be computer literate proficient in excel, word, spreadsheets, data bases and outlook.
The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
Proven experience to interact effectively all levels of management, guests, and associates,
Must be physically fit



Must be able to swim
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have at least five (5) years experience in a similar position.
Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
CPR certification
First Aid Certification
Must have early Childhood Qualifications.
