Vacancy - Human Resource & Administrative Assistant
Small telecommunications contractor company is looking for a hard-working, resourceful and outgoing professional to support its human resource and general manager functions.
The successful candidate will:
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Have advanced reading and writing skills.
Have excellent communication skills to interact with customers (internal and external)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation
Manage and update HR databases with information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation, and days off
Help in payroll management, preparation, and payment
Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information
Assist with recruitment in posting job ads and processing received resumes
Answer telephone calls and provide needed information
Create reports for senior management
Help, organize, and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
Provide administrative support to the General Manager and Human Resource Manager
Organize and manage inventory using relevant software
Create various administrative forms using programs such as Excel & Microsoft Word
Provide relevant support for the sourcing of tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Provide relevant assistance/support in the procurement of uniforms for staff.



Academic Qualifications of Successful Candidate:
Associate Degree in English, Business, or similar program.
High School Diploma or equivalent—CXC passes in Mathematics, English, and one Business Subject required.
Certificate in Human Resources Management would be an asset.
Previous working experience (at least 2 years) as an Administrative Assistant would be an asset.
Knowledge of the St. Lucia Labour Code would be an asset.



Critical Information:
This position will be full-time in an office setting.
Workdays: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
