Bay Gardens Resorts St. Lucia is seeking to hire experienced, dedicated and trustworthy
Security Officers to join its team:
The ideal candidate will:
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures at all times
• Patrol properties interior grounds and back off the house areas
• Patrol hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars and restaurants
• Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all occurrences, including any
suspicious activities
• Notify appropriate individuals and relevant authorities in the event of accidents, attacks, or
other incidents
• Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required
• Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
• Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of
property operation
• Respond to guest requests quickly and courteously as required
• Lock property entrances when required
• Conduct daily end of shift inspections
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and immediately report all accidents to the supervisor on
duty
• Maintain safety and security of staff and guests at all times
Prerequisites:
• Good communication skills
• Pleasant appearance
• Attentive to details
• Computer literate, as he/she will be required to complete mandatory online training
courses
Education: High school or equivalent education required. CPR or First aid certification is a plus.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
