JOB SUMMARY

This role will be responsible for the Warehousing, Maintenance, and Security Departments, ensuring seamless operations across the organization, and will collaborate with Departmental Managers to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The incumbent will also focus on Strategic Planning and Team Leadership, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall success and growth of the Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse Management:

Provide oversight and strategic direction for warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and implement efficient inventory management processes and logistics strategies.

Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Maintenance Management:

Manage the Maintenance Department to ensure the timely upkeep and repair of equipment, machinery, facilities, and overall infrastructure.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance services.

Negotiates terms and works closely with outsourced providers/contractors to ensure delivery of agreed objectives and compliance with Service Level Agreements and Company policies and procedures.

Security Management:

Implement and enforce security protocols to protect company assets and maintain a safe working environment.

Supervise security personnel and oversee the operation of security systems, including surveillance cameras and access control.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Facilities Management:

Oversee the management of company facilities, including buildings, grounds, and utilities, to ensure they meet operational needs and safety standards.

Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations of facilities as necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize space utilization and enhance workplace efficiency.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business growth.

Analyze market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement long-term strategies for sustainable business success.

Other:

Initiate activities or strategies to improve the company's competitive advantage and contribute to its growth and development.

Lead, coach, and develop supervisory and frontline teams to foster accountability, performance, and employee engagement.

Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management while meeting agreed standards

Gathers, organizes, and prepares information for comprehensive analyses and reports as required.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. A Master's Degree will be an asset.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role with at least three (3) years in a Senior Leadership role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
