Summary: This position requires a responsible and matured individual. You must be ready to work in a fast- paced and demanding environment, whilst maintaining a high level of work acumen and focused customer service.
Must be creative with local and international ingredients whilst delivering a high quality of service. Experience in pastries, desserts is an asset.
Job Summary:
Applicant Must
  • Create new local breakfast menu and lunch menu for a busy business complex
  • Must be able to calculate every menu for gross profit maximization
  • Implement cost saving methods without compromising service and quality standard.
  • Plan weekly menus in advance to promote via social media
  • Ensure that meals are prepared in a time manner
  • Maintain stock and inventory levels
  • Plan menu to fully utilize any food surplus and left over
  • Ensure proper food storage and hygiene methods to prevent food loss
  • Delegate duties to kitchen staff as per menu and operation requirements
  • Give staff feedback on their performance to encourage staff development
  • Perform multiple tasks smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare meals whilst preparing multiple orders
  • Set up and clean equipment for daily food preparation
  • Communicate with cook and serving staff; menu; food orders, operations
  • Maintain a safe working environment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health
  • Disinfect and sanitize the work area daily for the next day food preparation.
Applicants must:
  • Must be trained/ experienced in Culinary Arts or possess a Hospitality background.

Assistant Chef

  • Works along with chef on menu preparation, daily kitchen operations.
  • Will take the lead in the absence of the chef and perform daily duties accordingly
  • Provides guidance to waiting staff
  • Monitors and maintains kitchen stock
  • Provides support for chef Perform multiple tasks smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare meals whilst preparing multiple orders
  • Set up and clean equipment for daily food preparation
  • Communicate with cook and serving staff; menu; food orders, operations
