The ideal candidate is required to possess:
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Management, Public health, Social Work, or related field, with at least (3) years experience in a Senior Management position OR at 1st degree in the above fields with considerable experience in a Senior Management position.
Experience:
should also include strong skills in: Sexual and Reproductive Health; Gender issues; Leadership; Community Development; Mediation; Decision-Making; Communication; Marketing and Project Proposal Writing.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the CFPA according to the standards and values of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)
- Promoting the mission of CFPA and IPPF at national, regional and international fora
- Mastering the planning, reporting and evaluation systems of CFPA and IPPF
- Raising funds for the CFPA
- Working as a team leader in strengthening the CFPA as an IPPF regional resource center for family planning associations in the Caribbean
- Providing technical assistance in IPPF’s systems to family planning associations of the Caribbean
- Working in close collaboration with Executive Directors of the Caribbean and the Regional Office of the IPPF/WHR in advancing the cause of sexual and reproductive health and rights in the region.
Preference will be given to candidates and a sound knowledge of the Caribbean and with management experience in sexual and reproductive health or related fields.
The position will require the incumbent to travel locally, regionally and internationally.
