Title: Installation and Service Technician
Reports to: Department Lead
Location: Odsan, Castries
Type: Full Time
Working Hours: 8:00a.m: 5:00pm
Job Responsibilities
- Set up solar systems to enable customer access to the hot water.
- Service accounts by analyzing work sheets, planning daily schedules, investigating complaints and performance issues, conducting tests, and resolving issues
- Establishes initial service by understanding product requirements, ordering and staging components, coordinating installation, and testing functionality and performance
- Promotes positive customer experience by promptly examining complaints and identifying solutions, suggesting improved methodologies, and recommending product enhancements
- Maintains assigned tools and equipment in good operating condition by following instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supply levels, performing regular maintenance, and scheduling needed repairs
- Documents installation and service activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records in paper form
- Keeps all customer information confidential
- Updates knowledge and skills by networking, reading industry publications, and regularly participating in company training and educational opportunities
- Supports operational and organizational missions by completing all tasks promptly and accurately.
Skills and Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience installing and plumbing experience
- Experience in climbing houses/ buildings
- Knowledge for running plumbing
- High-school diploma required
- Certification in Plumbing may be a plus
- Self-starting multitasker who easily adapts to rapid change
- General plumbing troubleshooting
- History of sound judgment under deadline pressure
- Professional written and oral communicator
- Skilled at nurturing client relationships
- Equipment, part, and plumbing maintenance
- Experience filling out and submitting detailed reports
- Committed to preserving client and business confidentiality
- Quality oriented
- Driven to achieve
Successful Candidate will be paid remuneration as per their work load on a fortnightly basis.
Successful Candidate must have a valid driver’s license for at least 4 years with an endorsement to drive trucks and heavy equipment.
