AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN
CORE FUNCTIONS
This individual is accountable for the set-up, operation and maintenance of audio visual and related equipment at the resort. He/she also performs the DJ function and plays a key supporting role in the delivery of first-class entertainment to guests.

A. Specific Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Strong planning and organisational skills;
- Basic computer skills;
- Critical and analytical thinking;
- Problem solving and decision making skills;
- Technical skills;
- Use of tools and technology;
- Computer savvy with knowledge of common office software, particularly presentation packages, such as PowerPoint;
- Appreciates all forms of music and keeps abreast of trends in local and international genres;
- Knowledge of electronics;
- Camera and lighting techniques;
B. Qualifications and Experience
- Certification in audiovisual techniques or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution
- 5 CSEC/CXC passes including English and at least 2 of the following: Mathematics, Electronics, IT, Physics
