RAINFOREST ADVENTURES ST. LUCIA is a multinational, tourism-based company that is seeking to recruit a suitable and qualified person to fill the post of Photographer.
JOB SUMMARY:
Capture memorable moments by taking photos of people, settings, events and objects, use artistic and technical
skills to create high-quality images that guests will love, maintain all camera equipment in compliance with
established procedures, maximize revenue from picture sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Comply with all company policies.
 Take photos of all guests during tours.
 Aggressively sell photos to guests in line with photo revenue targets.
 Select and assemble proper equipment and choose settings and props based on clients’ wishes.
 Use artificial or natural lighting and flashes and reflectors where necessary.
 Retouch, resize and enhance images as required using photography software.
 Maintain the highest level of confidentiality related to company information.
 Update job knowledge by participating in relevant educational opportunities.
 Identify and report all health & safety hazards to ensure minimal impact on visitors and employees.
 Maintain performance standards as set by management.
 Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Service Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 High School Diploma with 5 – 8 CXC passes including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
 At least one year experience as a Photographer.
 Ability to use different types of photographic equipment and photography software.
 Understanding of artificial and natural lighting and how it affects difference settings, shapes and skin
tones.
 Good communication and the ability to be a team player.
 A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative flair.
 Good customer service skills.
 Self-motivated with the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
 Ability to respond to unexpected situations quickly and effectively.
