Rain Forest Adventures - St. Lucia - Marketing & Sales Specialist
General duties
- Prepares and executed marketing and advertising strategies, plans, budgets and objectives
- Analyses and undertakes product development
- Maximize sales revenue from hotel, cruise and yachting secotrs
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales data
- Keep updates on sales, market trends, forecasts, new product information and customer service requests
- Undertakes stakeholder management with particular focus on cruise, hotel and tour partners
- Works closely with internal and external business partners and clients
- Supervises, manages and supports Sales, Reservations and Port staff
- Works closely with Guide department and logistics coordinator
- Responsible for cruise ship correspondence, yearly scheduling, requests, visitor access, allocation and invoicing
- Responsible for advising the General Manager on negotiating and issuing of sales and transportation contracts
- Responsible for public liability insurance documentation to suppliers, hotels and cruise ship agents
- Liaison officer for cruise ship and tour operators
- Any other duties as directed by the General Manager
Skills and Qualifications
- Expert Sales and negotiation skills
- Detailed knowledge of strategic marketing (marketing and sales experience in the Tourism Sector will be advantageous)
- Awareness of the latest tourism trends and market shifts
- Competence inthe use of social media as a marketing tool

- Master’s Degree in Marketing/Business or a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/business or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience
