OJO Labs is looking for a highly talented, experienced Human Resources professional to join as an HR Generalist. OJO Labs is growing, and we are looking to hire hundreds of people in St Lucia over the next few years.
The HR Generalist will focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, implementing HR programs and initiatives and supporting the workforce. The successful candidate will be a broadly skilled HR professional who is self-motivated, results driven and brings a track record of strong teamwork and partnership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with management to conduct full cycle recruitment on a national scale. This includes: managing job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, short-listing candidates, conducting background checks and preparing job offers;
  • Manage the on-boarding of new hires and provides on-boarding support to management;
  • Maintains human resources records and information including benefits, compensation and employee files;
  • Manages the HR mailbox, responding to employee requests, enquiries and concerns in a timely and solution-oriented manner;
  • Participates in the off-boarding process by conducting exit interviews and associated documentation;
  • Supports the HR department in the delivery of various HR projects and initiatives, such as the performance review process, any policy or program changes, training and development initiatives, Health & Safety training, etc.;
  • Assists in payroll process and ensures accuracy and timeliness
  • Performs other duties related to Human Resources and Recruitment, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Post-secondary education Human Resource Management, or equivalent combination of education/experience;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist role;
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the St. Lucia Labor Code

  • Detail oriented with a demonstrated commitment to quality;
  • Works well independently as well as in a team environment with people at all levels;
