Saint Lucia’s 1st National Bank recently launched a new and improved website on the occasion of its 80th anniversary.

The bank first opened its doors in 1938, and has evolved over the years to meet the needs of Saint Lucian nationals everywhere—changing its name from the Saint Lucia Cooperative Bank to 1st National Bank in 2004, and becoming the first to introduce mobile banking in Saint Lucia.

According to Marketing Officer Sherydan Plummer, the new website is more educational and user friendly, with updates that will make browsing easier. The Executive Manager for Marketing and Public Relations, Robert Fevrier, said the new website provides enhanced functionality and is designed to highlight information without prolonged searches.

The website also reflects the full suite of products and services of 1st National Bank and according to officials from the bank, is both educational and productive for business purposes.

The launch took place at the bank’s commercial office in Rodney Bay.
