The role of Assistant Accountant provides support in administering the Company’s financial management, accounting systems and internal controls. Whilst ensuring that financial policies, procedures and objectives are adhered to and that the systems are efficient and effective in operation and consistent with the standard operation procedures and objectives of the Group.


➢ Provides accounting and operational support to internal clients as assigned.

➢ Assist in the preparation and development of annual strategic plans, budgets and estimates for the various departments, in collaboration with the managers.

➢ Assist the Divisional Finance Lead and General Manager in providing an internal audit function to ensure requirements of statutory audits are met.

➢ Oversee the accounting functions of the Company including but not limited to authorizing and posting of accounting entries and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and Chart of Accounts.


➢ A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Management.

➢ Completed accounting qualification to at least Level 2 ACCA or equivalent.

➢ At least four (3) years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment.

➢ Experience in budgeting, preparation of financial statements and management accounting.

➢ Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

➢ Excellent organizational skills.

➢ Excellent oral & written communication.

➢ Excellent interpersonal skills.

Applicant must be a strong team player, with strong analytical and time management skills, able to work under pressure and to maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness, flexible and reliable.
