NAGICO ST LUCIA LTD is a dynamic, financially strong and innovative insurance provider and is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the post of ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES CLERK.
SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivables Clerk primary responsibilities to assist with the administration of accounts receivables including and ensuring the integrity of the accounts receivables database.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Liaise with intermediaries to ensure collection measures are in place and are being executed in accordance with company policy including but not limited to timely follow ups, submission of monthly accounts receivables statements, preparation of reconciliation of AR to ACCPAC
  2. Routinely, liaise with intermediaries and colleagues with customer account queries, adjustments and reconciliation of clients’ accounts, ensuring all refunds and reimbursements of overpayment checks are properly recorded in the system
  3. Preparation of various audit, monthly and year end reports
  4. Provides support to the department in various areas deemed necessary an assists as directed by management, in other activities within the organization
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  1. Associate Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance or related discipline
  2. Knowledge of ACCPAC would be an asset
  3. Must have intermediate knowledge/skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  4. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar positioin
  5. Minimum 2 years’ experience in insurance industry is an asset
  6. Must show good planning and organizing skills; good communication skills; good interpersonal skills; good customer service orientation; good analytical and decision-making skills; results focused orientation; keen attention to detail; excellent time management skills; and willingness to be an excellent team player with a positive work attitude
  7. Must exhibit trust worthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
  8. Ability to work consistently to achieve targets, without constant supervision
COMPENSATION
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and competence.
