Professional Opportunity- Accountant
Overview:To monitor and report on the status of the Company’s financial accounts to the Management Team and to work closely with all stakeholders in an effort to provide solutions and make recommendations as it relates to the Company’s Finances.
The successful candidate should be well versed in the following:
Qualitative Criteria

- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate financial alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have a strong drive & passion towards the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
- Must be able to manage and lead a team of team members to ensure that they are always aligned with the Goals of the Department and the Company.
Qualitative Criteria
- To Prepare and publish timely monthly financial and management reports.
- Preparation, submission and presentation of monthly management accounts on a timely basis; cash-flow reports weekly, and to participate in and advise on discussions and matters pertaining to the function.
- Provide direct day to day management and control of the accounting function.
- To prepare budgets as per stipulated timelines.
- To ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- To develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- To prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor.
- To develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- To ensure compliance with statutory filing.
Qualifications & Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/ ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general ledger accounting, accounts reconciliation, financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent Excel & Accounting software Skills.
Salary shall be commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
