Job Vacancy for Cargo Agent/Broker
Hewanorra Air Cargo Services (HACS) is looking for an enthusiastic, service-oriented individual to join the cargo team at its Vieux Fort Cargo Facility.




Key Responsibilities
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Support cargo reservations and bookings whilst providing exemplary customer service.
Provide timely consignee notification on incoming cargo.
Liaise frequently with customer to ensure they meet desired delivery of export cargo.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Check and review preflight customer documentation.
Prepare flight documentation for airlines and Customs.
Prepare and review pre and post flight reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensure proper filing and storage of flight documents.
Coordinate cargo service activities between sales, warehouse staff and ground handlers to ensure efficient handling of shipments.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders including customers, airport and cargo operations, airline crew etc.
Engage and support facility training activities as required.
Support management in giving operational oversight including reporting ground handling performance issues and all matters of a suspicious nature.
Any other reasonable tasks as requested.




SAFETY, SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE
Help to ensure compliance and conformance to all regulatory and internal safety, security, quality, and procedural requirements.
Undertake quality check programs established by Management and participate in audits as required.
Experience in the customs brokerage field and proficiency in Asycuda World will be an asset.
