LOCATION: Rodney Bay, St. Lucia

In this new and exciting position, the Human Resource/Marketing Coordinator will function as the local representative in the areas of Marketing and Human Resources. The incumbent will provide administrative support in the areas of Human Resources management and Marketing for the Company (Excellent Holdings Limited, EHL and domestic company (Excellent Stores Saint Lucia, ESSL). The incumbent will work very closely with the Human Resources Manager and Marketing Manager, both located in Trinidad & Tobago.
Key Responsibilities Human Resources
- Provide support in all areas of Human Resources as directed by the Human Resources Manager/Director, Trinidad.
- Work closely with Payroll Administrator in Trinidad to process payroll for both fortnightly and monthly employees for both ESSL an EHL.
- Work with Recruiter in Trinidad in all aspects of Recruitment. Screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct interviews as necessary, etc.
- Liaise with HR Manager on all employee disciplinary matters. Provide first level HR support in the area of employee discipline once confirmed with HR Manager.
- Liaise with HR Manager in the areas of training, benefits administration, orientation, etc.
- Provide Marketing support in all areas of Marketing as directed by the Marketing Manager/Director, Trinidad
- Conduct market research as directed.
- Coordinate advertising and sales promotional activity as directed by Trinidad.
- Organize and execute other office activities and events as required. Work with EHL Executive Assistant and ESSL personnel as necessary.
- Provide local competitive information to Marketing that will inform promotional activities.
- Liaise with Trinidad Public Relations and Communications (Marketing) in response to donation requests, community involvement initiatives, and any other related matter.
- Provide content to Marketing that could be used for St. Lucia social media platforms.
- Ensure adherence to Company policies and regulations.
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business development.
Perform any other related duties and responsibilities assigned by your Manager.
Job Requirements Knowledge/Experience
- A BSc degree in Management or related field
- A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a similar role
- Experience in Marketing and Human Resources at an administrative level.
- MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership skills, ability to lead by example
- Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to interact with other business units and other members of the team in a professional and effective manner
- Strong organizational skills, reliable, autonomous and ability to handle multiple requests in order of priority
- Ability to observe and maintain confidentially in the performance of duties.
- Adaptable and agile. Able to work effectively in a very fast paced environment.
- Outstanding problem solving skills
