Job Description:
We at Duty Free Shoppers are currently looking to expand our team and are recruiting a Human Resource/Hiring Manager at our southern division. As a Human Resource/Hiring Manager your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff.
Overseeing staff’s daily workflow.
Providing monthly evaluation reports of staff members.
Handling of discipline and termination of employees in accords with company policy.
Maintaining compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resource management.
Thorough knowledge of St. Lucia Labour Code.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Knowledge of HR related software is an asset.
