We are recruiting a professional with experience in marketing and new business development to identify novel revenue and product opportunities, develop and define customer relationships and increase our client portfolio as a New Business Development Manager. Supporting the OECS Commercial Director, the successful candidate will work to strengthen our market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships in all consumer regional markets.
You will have the following key accountabilities:
Discover and explore business opportunities
Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Develop and manage marketing business performance plan
Develop annual new business plan for input into the annual marketing plan
Establish sufficient prospective opportunities to meet strategic business plans
Develop negotiating strategies and position by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
Deliver on new business projects and executes them on time and on budget
Manage the life-cycle and growth of new business projects once implemented
Work with brand managers to develop product plans to transition new business opportunities into the business portfolios

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management/Administration, Sales and/or related discipline
Three (3) to five (5) years managerial experience in a Marketing Department for a medium to large organization, with two (2) years’ experience in event planning and corporate communications
Excellent strategic and creative skills with emphasis on business and brand focus thinking skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities
Strong budget management and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills
Good project management skills
Strong analytical ability capabilities with emphasis on reading and interpreting data
Good understanding of consumer needs and behaviour
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Results driven – persistent and committed
