Spa attendants facilitate the day-to-day operations, They conduct regular cleaning and maintenance and take charge of inventory, tracking supplies and stocking treatment rooms with fresh materials. Alongside these tasks, they may take on administrative duties such as manning the front desk and coordinating appointments. It’s essential for them to practice good customer service all throughout, with the end goal of crafting a positive, rewarding spa experience that satisfies customers. They typically work in shifts that may extend to weekends, depending on the spa’s business hours, and although they spend much of their time standing, their work environment is usually quiet and soothing.
Spa Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure a pleasant experience for customers, spa attendant frequently inspect and clean facility areas. In addition, they help massage therapists and aestheticians prepare for sessions and replenish supplies such as products and linens in between treatments
It’s important for spas to have a well-managed inventory, with a steady supply of blankets, massage oils, and other materials used by clients. Spa attendants monitor the inventory carefully, creating logs and assisting with supply procurement as well as checking for equipment that requires repair.
