The AMS Group is looking or a business-minded Journalist and a Sales Executive. these are full time opportunities to support our growing range of Business and Tourist Publications in Saint Lucia and the wider Caribbean.
Journalist
- A degree in Journalism/English is preferred
- Be experienced in print journalism
- Duties will include fact-checking, proofreading
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Must have excellent computer skills to support Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
The person will work closely with our Publisher and other contracted writers. We are looking for a team player, who has a positive attitude and the ability to focus, multi-task and think independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
Sales Executive
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and Develop Advertising Sales for our growing Number of Publications
- Coordinate Design of Material with Production
- An Opportunity to Chart your Own Course for an Existing Career in Advertising and Sales
- Grow with Projected Expansion Plans
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid Driver’s License
- Proficient in the Use of Computers & Microsoft Office and Social Media
- Good command of English Language & writing skills
- Own Motor Vehicle & Previous Sales Experience an Asset
- Highly Motivated to Function with Minimal Supervision
