ADMAC LTD - Route Sales Person/ Driver
Job Brief:
Monitors and maintains customer accounts on road sales routes, markets products to new and existing customers to generate sales for the company. Conducts merchandising activities at various shops on sales routes island wide. Performs physical stock counts of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer generated reports.
To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with customers, clients and internal teams. Selling skills and experience will be a major asset to this position. Ultimately, you will increase profitability and effectiveness by growing the sales of selected items while suggesting new sales avenues for business.

Some Route Sales person Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with putting together goods that have been ordered by our customers.
  • Deliver goods belonging to the customers in a timely manner.
  • On arrival at the customer’s location check goods against invoice to make sure that items have been correctly listed on the invoices as against delivered.
  • Ensure that the goods vehicle is kept clean at all times.
  • Report vehicular issues to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
  • Solicit business from new customers on Van sales route.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers to grow sales.
  • Go out on the road to sell the Company’s goods on days agreed by Management.
  • Prepare invoices and Account for all monies collected from Customers.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocktaking when called upon.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven work experience in a sales position.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills and interact with other members of the sales team.
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software is an asset.
  • Active participation in inventory audits
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge in data entry and analysis of data
  • Confident with Microsoft package.
  • Outgoing friendly nature with professional integrity.
  • Knowledge of the roads and route system is an asset.
  • Display a high level of maturity and responsibility in the handling of company assets and merchandise.
  • Clean professional record.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must have successfully completed Secondary School, achieving a minimum of 4 CxC subjects including Mathematics and English.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Two to three references form past employers.
  • Previous retail, warehouse, sales and/or hospitality experience a major plus
  • Should be computer literate.
